Dreams of Tahiti
What a rough couple of years 2020 and 2021 have been! With the pandemic, lockdowns, restrictions etc, I think we all deserve a nice break away where we can get back to enjoying the good things in life! Where the stress and negativity just melts away and is replaced by good vibes, relaxation and contentment. What do you think?
If that sounds like a bit of you, take a look at Windstar’s sensational Dreams of Tahiti cruise. Imagine stepping aboard the beautiful Wind Spirit for a 7 night cruise through Tahiti’s spectacular islands. Graceful and serene, the trade winds fill the sails and you’re off, with no demands on you except to decide what activity you would like to do that day and which decadent meal you’d like to choose from the menu.
If you’ve never been to Tahiti before, allow us to let you in on a little secret. Tahiti has an almost hypnotic charm that, once you’re under her spell, you’ll never truly escape from. She’ll keep luring you back. There’s a reason why the infamous crew of the MS Bounty anchored up here for several months and didn’t want to leave again!
Unless they’re cruising, most people visiting Tahiti either go to Moorea (beautiful as well as being nice and close to Papeete) or Bora Bora (the focus of many a postcard and brochure). Cruising, however, allows you to experience both of these stunning islands as well as several others that many tourists never get to see. Each island has its own personality and we challenge you to decide on a favourite!
Personally, Taha’a is right up there on my list of “Most Beautiful Places in the World.” Great expanses of crystal clear lagoons, impeccably white sand, masses of colourful tropical fish and stunning resorts with overwater bungalows …. It just doesn’t get much more idyllic than this!
The 7 night “Dreams of Tahiti” cruise on-board Wind Spirit operates year round, taking in Moorea, Raiatea, Mahaea (Taha’a), Bora Bora, Huahine and Papeete. These islands really are the pick of the bunch! And whilst on board, you’ll be treated to delicious meals, on-board entertainment and excellent service. A beer and wine beverage package, champagne welcome reception, “Bora Bora Festival Celebration”, on-board deck BBQ and more are also included.
Now if 7 nights are not enough (and we all know it never is!), there are longer cruises as well. The 11-night “Tahiti & the Tuamotus” also includes Rangiroa and Fakarava and the 17 night “Twice The Tahiti” visits some islands twice (for those of us who can never get enough the first time around!).
