With this itinerary, you don't need to worry about that as you'll enjoy international flights into Santiago where you'll spend two nights before a domestic flight from Santiago to Puerto Williams. The next day, a charter flight will take you directly into King George Island where you'll board your ship, refreshed and ready to explore!
From there, you'll spend 6 days cruising the Antarctic Sound, Antarctic Peninsula and South Shetland Islands, discovering majestic icebergs, huge glaciers, impressive mountains and looking out for a variety of exciting rare wildlife including penguins and albatrosses.
During the day, there is usually a choice of excursions - either hiking or cruising aboard the Zodiac's with the expert Silversea Expedition team. Each Antarctic voyage is different and excursions are tailored to make the most of the moment depending what wildlife viewing opportunities are available.
