When the cruise is over - Pre and Post Cruise Extensions
Let’s talk about pre and post cruise experiences. Often you’ll see a full package deal advertised that includes airfares, transfers and cruise with an itinerary set out from the time you leave home until you arrive back. But what if you want to spend more time away before or after your cruise? Or you want to have a stopover along the way. Can these packages be changed?
The short answer – absolutely! At Utimate Cruising we encourage you to add extra days before or after your cruise. Our packages will usually include a night pre-cruise for the simple reason that, should your flight be delayed for any reason, we don’t want you to miss your cruise. By booking at least one night before your cruise, you’ve got a night (and usually most of a day) up your sleeve to allow for delays or to get on the next plane.
But we also encourage you to add more days either end. For example, if you’re cruising to Antarctica, this may be the one and only time you visit Buenos Aires so why not take a few extra days to explore or add on an excursion to Machu Picchu, for example. There will never be a cheaper way to do it! Our packages are fully flexible so whether you want to add a coach tour through Europe to your Croatia/Greek Island cruise, or stop at Disneyland on your way home from cruising The Mississippi, we can arrange it.
Sometimes the cruise lines will offer pre and post touring options as well and we can also book these for you. It’s just a matter of discussing the options and what you want to do with our Ultimate Cruising consultants and they’ll tailor the package to suit you.
